A photocopy of picture identification for yourself and any other persons who will be listed on your account may be obtained. Acceptable forms of picture identification include your state issued driver’s license, military identification card, state identification card, etc.
If you are an existing member who joined the credit union before the USA Patriot Act rules became effective, October 26, 2001, we may also need to verify and retain copies of any documents used to verify your identity when you request a new deposit account, apply for a loan or are added as a signatory to a new or existing deposit or loan account.
If, for any reason, you are unable to provide the information necessary to verify your identity, the account(s) may not be opened; or the account(s) may be blocked or closed, which may result in additional fees assessed to the account(s).
